3. Out-review your neighbours
In busy areas like Indiranagar or MG Road, the top 3 restaurants often have thousands of reviews. You don't need to match them overnight, but you need a steady flow of new reviews every week. Ask every happy customer — at the counter, on WhatsApp, on the bill. Reply to every review, good or bad.
4. Show Google you're active
Post an offer, a new dish, a before/after photo or an event every week. Upload real photos regularly. Active profiles earn more trust from customers and from Google.
5. Keep your details consistent everywhere
Your name, address and phone should match exactly on Google, your website, Justdial, Zomato, Practo, Sulekha or IndiaMART. Mismatches confuse Google about which business is real.
6. Think beyond your own street
Distance matters, so you'll naturally rank better near your shop. To show up further away — say from Domlur when you're in Indiranagar — you need stronger prominence: more reviews, more photos and more mentions across the web.
7. Be ready for AI search
